Who is Jahnavi Dangeti?

Jahnavi Dangeti is a resident of Palakollu village in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. Whose age is about 23 years. Her village is not a very big or urban area, but the dreams were very big. Jahnavi was interested in space since childhood. When children play with dolls, Janhavi used to read stories of astronauts, watch NASA documentaries and collect information about ISRO and NASA on the Internet.

Her father is Srinivas Dangeti who works in the private sector in Kuwait. And mother is Mrs. Padmashri Dangeti. And she also lives in Kuwait with Srinivas ji. Parents also gave wings to her dreams. Janhavi, who was sharp in studies from the beginning, chose aerospace engineering after intermediate and then her steps reached directly to NASA’s program.

Jahnavi Dangeti Education

Jahnavi Dangeti early education took place in a town called Palakollu in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. It was from here that she did her schooling and completed her 11th, 12th, where her interest in astronomy and space science increased even more.

Janhavi enrolled in Lovely Professional University (LPU) in Punjab for further studies, from where she obtained a B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). During the university itself, she started gathering information about NASA’s programs and applied. After hard work and dedication, she got selected.

Jahnavi took 5 days of intensive training in NASA’s International Air and Space Program (IASP), where she became the mission director and led the entire team. Apart from this, she also received analogue astronaut training in Poland and geology training in Iceland. Additionally, he also contributed to the discovery of asteroids by participating in NASA’s International Astronomical Search Collaboration (IASC) program, which made his name internationally famous.

What is NASA IAS Program?

The full form of IAS program is International Air and Space Program. This is a very special and challenging training program associated with NASA, in which selected students from all over the world are given training in things like space science, rocket technology, robotics, aerodynamics, and mission simulation.

Dangeti Janhavi was selected for this program and she completed it with full confidence. This program took place at NASA’s center in Alabama, USA, where Janhvi was trained like a real mission. She played the role of team leader there and successfully completed the robotics mission.

Jahnavi Dangeti will Go to Space in 2029

After completing the IAS program, Jahnavi will now get a chance to travel to space in 2029. This will be a commercial space travel mission, in which Janhvi will go as a passenger and researcher. Many scientific experiments related to life will be done in this mission.
