Courts and Events: The tournament will be played primarily on hard-courts, as has been the case in the past. Major stadiums include Arthur Ashe Stadium, Louis Armstrong Stadium, and Grandstand.

A new mixed doubles format is also included this year, which will be held before the main tournament.

The total prize pool for this edition is a record-setting $90 million, the largest event-graded prize pool in tennis history.

The singles champion (male/female) will receive a prize of $5 million—an impressive sum.
