What you need before starting your Free Blog on Blogger

1. A Gmail account and a confirmed password that you should always remember. (If you don’t have one, create one)

2. What you want to blog about. Its name i.e. the name of the blog (if you don’t know, click on this link and see, I had mentioned it in the previous step)

Step-by-Step: Creating Your Free Blog on Blogger

1. Go to Blogger.com

Go to www.blogger.com on your browser. You will see a sign-in button. Click on it and log in using your Gmail account.

2. Click on “Create New Blog”

After logging in, click on the orange button that says “Create New Blog”. (A popup will appear asking for basic details. But sometimes, it doesn’t appear.)

3. Choose your blog title

This is the name of your blog. It can be simple and related to your topic. Which you will see at the top of your blog.

4. Choose a blog address (URL)

This is the web address of your blog, like yourblogname.blogspot.com. (Choose the same url as you named the blog And check that it is not registered before)

5. Choose a theme

Choose a free theme from the list. You can change it anytime later. Choose a clean and simple design for now.

6. Click “Create Blog”

Once you have filled in the title, address and chosen the theme — just click “Create Blog”.

Now your blog is live! You can access your dashboard, where you will see options like new posts, layout, themes and settings.
